The Movie Trailers Service website is a portal linking film distributors and cinema operators. It allows these two different actors to share cloud-based trailer files for the first time.
At the time of launch, the distributor’s functionalities only comes down to adding trailers. It also grants them ability to access downloaded statistics from movie theaters. In order to speed up the data entry, all the information about movies is taken from the Mediafilm database. On the other hand, the operators have the possibility to download the trailers available and to consult their download history.
This trailer platform is an exclusive and previously non-existent service, which truly fills a gap in the Quebec movie market. We at Sednove are proud to have contributed to such an innovative project and we wish a long life to the SBA Project!
